Tomatoes, Marigolds, and Golden Hours.
It has been another busy week of juggling the summer rush, but I’ve still managed to carve out some time for my plants. My homegrown tomatoes have been taking up a lot of my attention lately; I’ve successfully transplanted a few of them into their final spots, but there is still a whole batch waiting their turn. Alongside those, I’ve been busy growing even more marigolds. They do so well out there, and I can't wait to get them planted out to add another big burst of summer colour to the front garden at The Claremont.
As hectic as the weeks can get at this time of year, I made sure to squeeze in a few sunset walks along the coast over the last few days. Even when the tide is all the way out and the sea is miles away, there is nothing quite like it after a long day. That feeling of just walking out onto the vast beach feels both freeing and uplifting. It’s the perfect way to reset.
Right, the afternoon check-ins will be starting soon, so I had better get myself sorted and ready for the weekend arrivals.
Until next time,
The Fylde Hotelier
