Where to Catch the Best Sunsets on the Fylde Coast.

Golden hour on the Fylde Coast is something really special. Whenever I get a quiet moment, I love heading down to the promenade to watch the day come to an end. At The Claremont, we’re only a short walk from the beach, which makes it so easy to catch that perfect evening glow.

As the sun begins to dip, the vast stretches of golden sand reflect the light, turning the whole landscape into shades of deep orange, soft pink, and warm gold. There’s something so special about that moment. The cool sea breeze, the warmth of the setting sun, and the sky slowly lighting up, it’s the perfect way to find a bit of calm.

Whether you're walking along the shoreline near the pier or sitting on a bench watching the tide roll in, a St Annes sunset is something you won’t forget.

My Favourite Sunset Spot in St Annes

If you’re looking for the best place to catch the sunset, I always recommend heading towards the sand dunes just past the main promenade in St Annes. It’s a little quieter than the central areas, and you get an uninterrupted view across the shoreline.

There’s something special about being slightly tucked away, with the dunes behind you and nothing but open sky and sand in front. As the sun drops, the colours seem even more vivid, and it feels like your own little hidden corner of the Fylde Coast.

My Insider Tip: If you're staying with us, ask me for a few more quiet sunset spots to watch the sun go down away from the crowds.!

Until next time,
