A Quiet Hour in the Garden

It’s been a busy week here at The Claremont in St Annes, but we finally managed to find a moment to turn our attention to the front garden.

The hanging baskets are now up, filled with trailing petunias in soft purples and pinks, along with a few geraniums to give a little height and colour at the top. They’re only just getting started, but with a bit of sunshine and time, I’m hoping they’ll soon be full and flowing over the sides, adding a warm welcome to the front of The Claremont.

The garden itself is a bit of a work in progress at the moment. We’re currently tackling the lawn, clearing out the moss and giving it some attention ahead of the summer months. It might not look its best just yet, but it’s all part of getting things ready for the season ahead.

Once it’s recovered, the plan is to add some bedding plants around the edges to bring in a bit more colour and tie everything together.

For now, though, it’s nice to have the baskets in place. Even small touches like that make a difference, and it’s always satisfying to see things slowly come together.

Until next time,
The Fylde Hotelier
