A Cheesy Discovery in St Annes.

One of the best things about the Fylde Coast is discovering those quiet corners and local surprises that make St Annes so special. Even if you think you know the area well, there’s always something new to find.

This week, between the morning breakfast service and welcoming guests at The Claremont, I managed a short stroll near St Annes Square. It’s one of those spots where the sea breeze meets the charm of local independent shops.

A New Must-Visit in St Annes: The Cheese Emporium

During my walk, I finally popped into The Cheese Emporium. What I loved straight away is that it’s not about the big brands you see everywhere else. Instead, the shelves are filled with carefully chosen cheeses and unique finds you just wouldn’t come across in a supermarket. It really feels like a place where you can discover something new.

If you’re looking for something a little different in St Annes, here’s why it’s worth a visit:

  • Unique Selection: A fantastic variety of cheeses from independent producers and smaller creameries.
  • Expert Knowledge: The shopkeepers are incredibly helpful and gave us some brilliant recommendations to try.
  • Support Independent: It’s a great way to support the small businesses that make the St Anne's food scene so vibrant.

Whether you’re a local foodie or visiting and staying at The Claremont, it’s well worth a stop. I’m already planning my next visit to try a few more varieties.

Have you visited yet? I’d love to hear what you picked up if you have.

Until next time,
